NIMHANS Entrance Exam 2024 Question Format
The entrance examination is conducted through online mode and it contains of multiple choice objective type questions (MCQ).
- There will be 100 MCQ type questions. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer.

- Type of Questions – Multiple Choice Questions.
- Duration of Exam – 90 min.

NIMHANS Bangalore Admissions- Application Process

Step 1- Candidates must visit the official website of NIMHANS Bangalore.

Step 2- Eligible candidates need to fill NIMHANS Bangalore application form online mode only along with all the enclosures and photographs.

Step 3- Candidates can only apply to a maximum of three courses (provided they are eligible).

Step 4- Employees of state or central government or of any public sector undertaking of state or central government should submit their applications along with the no-objection certificate.

Selection Criteria:
- The candidates applying for the postgraduate programs in the institute are required to qualify for an entrance exam conducted by the institute.
- The candidates belonging to the UR or OBC category are required to secure at least 50% for admissions to the postgraduate program offered by the institute.
- The candidates belonging to the ST or SC category are required to secure at least 45% for admissions to the postgraduate program offered by the institute.
- There is no community-specific reservation in courses like DM and M.Ch. Hence, the candidates wishing to pursue these two courses from the institute must secure at least 50% in the entrance exam.
