NIMS University is a self-financed medical and technical university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It is recognized by UGC, established under the NIMS University Act 2008 by the government of India. The university was founded by Balvir S. Tomar. National Institute of Medical Sciences, widely known as NIMS Rajasthan, commenced its establishment in the academic year of 2008. The university was built up with the help of the Government of India and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
