NIT Patna Admission Dates 2024

Eligibility Criteria:

M.Arch

• Eligibility Criteria:  B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg/B.Arch with at least 50% marks from a recognized board or university.
• The candidates will be chosen based on their GATE results, and seats will be assigned through CCMT counseling.

MSC:

• Eligibility Criteria: Students wanting to seek admission in the Integrated M.Sc program are supposed to have completed their 10+2 in the Science stream from any recognized board
• Selection Criteria: Selection for the Integrated M.Sc program at NIT Patna is done on the basis of the rank secured by a candidate in the IIT JAM entrance examination.

PHD

• Eligibility Criteria: The students are supposed to have a Master’s degree or equivalent degree in a relevant stream with a minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate from a recognized board or institution.
• Selection Criteria: Selection of the candidates in the Ph.D. programs is done on the basis of marks secured in GATE or JRF/ NET exams.

MURP

• Eligibility Criteria: Candidates applying for admission to the MURP program at NIT Patna must have a B.Arch. Candidates must have a graduation GPA of at least 6.5 and a graduation rate of at least 60%.
• Selection Criteria: Candidates are chosen based on their performance in the GATE Exam.

M.tech

• Eligibility Criteria: Students wanting to seek admission in the MTech degree program are supposed to have a bachelor’s degree in B.E. or B.Tech in the relevant program.
• Selection Criteria: Students are selected on the basis of the rank secured by them in the GATE Exam.

B.Arch

• Eligibility Criteria: Candidates seeking admission to NIT’s B.Arch program must have a 10+2 diploma with physics, chemistry, maths, and English as essential courses.
• Selection Process: Candidates are chosen based on their performance in JEE Main.

B.Tech:

• Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have scored 75% in 10+2 class examination (or remaining in top 20 percentile in the exam conducted by recognized boards) or equivalent marks in respective subjects (physics, chemistry & mathematics as core subjects)
• Selection Criteria: Students are selected on the basis of scores secured by them in JEE Main 2024
