B.Tech
The applicants should have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board
They must have a valid JEE Main score

M.Tech
The applicants should have completed their graduation in relevant subjects from a recognized University
The applicants must have a valid GATE score

M.Sc.
The applicants should have completed their graduation in B.Sc

MBA
The applicants should have completed their graduation with a minimum aggregate of 60% from a recognized University
They must have a valid CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT score

BArch
A minimum of 50% aggregate in Class 12 with PCM

MA
Passed B.Tech/BA/B.Sc./B.Com with 50% marks or 5.5 CGPA

NIT Rourkela B.Tech Selection Process

• The institute offers admission after considering the 12th exam results, JEE Main and JEE Advanced score
• A merit list shall be made category-wise, listing All India Rank (AIR) of candidates which is used for the Counselling process.
• Candidates have to register for counseling online at the official JoSSA website.
• In this stage, candidates are allotted seats as per their choice and the availability of the seats in the institutes.
