North-Eastern Hill University is a Central University established on 19 July 1973 by an Act of the Indian Parliament. The university is in the suburb of Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya, India. The university has two campuses: Shillong and Tura in Meghalaya. The UG courses offered by NEHU Shillong are BA, B.Sc., BA LLB, B.Tech, B.Ed. and B.Arch. PG courses include MA, M.Sc., M.Com, M.Ed., M.Tech, MBA, MTTM, MLISc., MCA, MJMC, MSW, PGPD-SEDE. The research courses offered to the students are M.Phil. and Ph.D.

NEHU University Admission: Eligibility Criteria
M.Sc: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% SC/ST)
MA: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant stream with minimum 45% marks in aggregate
M.Tech: BE/ B.Tech with 60% marks (55% marks for ST/SC)
B.tech: A candidate should be a pass out in the 10+2 examination or any equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry along with Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational subject with a minimum of 45%. The candidate should have merit in the IIT-JEE Main examination.
BA LLB: A candidate with a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2 examination or equivalent examination and 45% marks for SC/ ST is eligible.
B.Arch: A candidate with a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 examination or equivalent examination
MBA: A candidate should be a graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and 45% marks for SC/ ST.

NEHU Admission Process 2024-24
- First, go through the NEHU Website. https://www.nehu.ac.in/
- After the clicking registration form.
- Students have to fill out that form with all their details.
- Check before the submission of the registration form.
- After that click on click on the submit button.
- It will take a few mins to download.
- An applicant has to pay the amount for registration.
- After successful registration applicant takes some print out of the application form.
NEHU Admission 2024-24
NEHU Admission will open in the month of June every year. Interested candidates can apply for selected courses. It has various schools and academic departments that offer UG, PG, and doctoral level programs.
- BA, B.Tech, BSC, BA LLB, B.Ed, and B.Arch courses are available at the UG level.
- The students who want to apply to these courses must have an HSC degree in the same subject.
- MTech, MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MBA, M.Ed., MTTM, MLISc, MJMC, MCA, and MSW are available at the PG level.
Merit List
The authorities will release the merit list for admission in online mode. Candidates need to check the scorecard to know whether they are shortlisted for further admission process or not. Candidates can check the merit list by following the steps given below:
