NUJS Admission 2024- Eligibility, Dates, Application Form

The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences is a highly reputed public law school in India, and is a National law University located in Salt Lake City of Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It is consistently ranked as one of the top law schools of the country. NUJS Admission 2024 Admission has been done on the basis of CLAT 2024. National University of Juridical Sciences, abbreviated to NUJS, was established in 1999 by BCI, UGC. University offers courses at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. The courses offered by the university are BA/B.Sc LLB (H), LLM, M. Phil, Ph.D. & LLD. WBNUJS the following is a semester process of examination. The exams are conducted twice in one year. The odd semester is conducted in the month of December and even the semester is conducted in the month of May. The result is published on the official university website once the exams are over. WBNUJS Admission offers the following two methods of form submission:

Online Process

1. NUJS Kolkata check website
2. Check your eligibility and make registration by clicking on the “Apply” tab.
3. Fill in authentic details in your form and select a program.
4. Attach the supporting documents, signature, and photo.
5. Make payment by using any online payment methods. (net banking, wallet, debit card, credit card, etc.)
6. Submit the form

Application Form Fee –

Fee for submitting the application form for NLS Admission 2024 :

• For General / OBC / SAP – Rs. 4000
• For SC / ST category – Rs. 3500

NUJS Kolkata Admission Process – B.A. L.L.B (Hons)

• Firstly, candidates need to sit for CLAT and obtain a valid score.

• Next, they are required to meet the CLAT cutoff and register for CLAT counselling.

• Participate in counselling and fill college choices.

• Select NUJS Kolkata as first choice.

• Candidates are allotted to colleges based on their CLAT score, availability of seats, category and choices filled.

• Once The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences is allotted, visit the campus.

• Secure admission to the B.A. L.L.B (Hons) course by submitting the required documents and paying course fees.

NUJS Result 2024

WBNUJS Admission 2024 will be carried out on the basis of the marks obtained during the entrance test. After the NUJS Results 2024 , NUJS merit list of the shortlisted candidates will be revealed, and the chosen candidates will be called upon for counsel. Admission for the respective courses is given upon completion of the counseling applicants.

Infrastructure:

• The main campus of the college is located on 5 acres plot on salt lake. The campus is well connected to railway stations in Kolkata and Kolkata airport
• The academic block of the campus has the NUJS library; two fully air conditioned conference rooms; two huge lecture theatres
• The campus also has an auditorium and a gymnasium for the students and the staff and faculties of NUJS
• NUJS has built its own auditorium, on campus, with all modern facilities.

Required Educational Qualification

BA LL. B (Hons)
Qualifying exam: CLAT Required Educational Qualification: The applicant must have cleared senior secondary exam with minimum forty five percent marks (The candidates belonging to SC / ST category must have scored minimum forty percent marks)

B.Sc LL.B (Hons)
Qualifying exam: CLAT Required Educational Qualification: The applicant must have cleared senior secondary exam with minimum forty five percent marks (The candidates belonging to SC / ST category must have scored minimum forty percent marks)

LL.M (Commercial Law)
Qualifying exam: CLAT Required Educational Qualification: The applicant must have completed graduation in law with minimum fifty five percent marks

M.Phil
Qualifying exam: UGC SLET / SET / JRFRequired Educational Qualification: The applicant must have completed graduation in law with minimum fifty five percent marks

Ph.D.
Qualifying exam: UGC SLET / SET / JRFRequired Educational Qualification: The applicant must have completed graduation in law with minimum fifty five percent marks

LL.D
Required Educational qualification: The candidate must have completed Ph.D. in the field of law from a recognized university
