Directorate of Training has released the notification for the Odisha ITI 2024 Admission. All the candidates who wish to get admission into any of the Govt/ Private ITIs can apply for the same on the official website dheodisha.gov.in. There is no entrance exam for ITI admission in Odisha, and the candidates will be selected on the basis of his/ her marks in Class 10^th. Odisha ITI 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through eligibility norms before applying for the ITI Odisha admission 2024:

• Nationality: Indian citizen candidates will be eligible to apply.
• Qualification: Candidates must qualify class 8^th or annual high school examination of Board of Secondary Education (BSE) or any other equivalent examination from recognized board or university.
• Lower age limit: He/ She must be at least 14 years in age as on 1st August 2024.
• Upper age limit: There will be no upper age limit to qualify Odisha ITI.
• Domicile: Candidates must have domicile of Odisha state.

For engineering trades:

• For 2-year Wireman/ Painter (General) trade: Candidates who have failed their class 10^th exam but have passed 8^th standard can apply for admission in this trade.
• For 1-year Sheet Metal Worker/ Carpenter/ Welder trade: The applicants who have failed their class 10^th exam but have passed in class 8^th can apply.
• For 2-year Fitter/ Vessel Navigator/ Turner/ Electronics Mechanic/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade: Candidates should have passed class 10^th examination from a recognized board or its equivalent.
• For 1-year Plastic Processing Operator/ Plumber / Marine Engine Fitter/: Candidates should have passed their class 10^th

For non-engineering trades:

• For 1-year Weaving Technician for Silk Woolen Fabrics trade: Those who have failed their class 10^th exam but have passed 8^th standard are eligible.
• For 1-year Secretarial Practice/ Baker & Confectioner/ Computer Operator and Programming Assistant trade: Candidates should have passed their class 10^th examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Odisha DHE ITI Application Fee

• Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.100/-
• Applicants have to pay application fee only through the online mode i.e. through the ATM-cum-Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.

Odisha ITI 2024 Admission Details with How to Apply

1. The aspirants need to register online by entering their name, mobile number and email id and generating login credentials.
2. The candidates can get the access of the Common Application Form by entering the login id and password as generated during the online registration process.
3. Once the application form is downloaded, the candidates must enter the details like personal, academic and communication.
4. It is necessary for the candidates to mention the genuine details in the application form as the authority will cross check the same during the admission process.
5. The scanned images of signature and photograph must be uploaded by the candidates in the specified format set by the authority.
6. Those who do not fill all the mandatory information in the application form and submit the same online cannot proceed ahead for admission process.
7. The application fee payment must be done through online mode that includes the debit card or net banking or credit card.
8. The application fee amount is Rs 100 which is non-refundable and the candidates will have to pay the same online.
9. In the end, the candidates need to check the details correctly in the application form and take the print out for future use.
10.  It is mandatory for the applicants to send the hard copy of the application form to DHE office in Odisha.

Odisha ITI Merit List 2024

The Merit List will prepare through the Directorate of Technical Education and Training department, Odisha, Cuttack on its official website on the 16th of September 2024. In the Merit List, candidates will be shortlisted as per their marks obtained in the previous qualifying examination. The Counselling and seat allotment procedure is the next after publishing the Merit List.

Odisha ITI 2024 Result

The result for Odisha ITI 2024 Admission will be declared by the Directorate of Technical Education. The result will be available in the form of merit list on the official website. Candidates who have filled the application form can check their names on the merit list. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the score of the qualifying exam for class 10th. All the candidates whose name will be their in the merit list will be eligible to take part in further process.

Odisha ITI 2024 Counselling

Odisha ITI 2024 Counselling will get started after the declaration of merit list. The complete procedure will be issued by the authority. It will be done on the basis of cut-off & merit list. All eligible candidates will have to appear in the counselling procedure.

Counselling process may be held as online or offline mode. Candidates will have to carry original & photo copy of some important documents. Candidates will have to produce below mentioned documents for verification.

Selection Criteria

• Marks obtained in 10th class examination, weightage and reservation (if applicable) will also be taken into account while preparing the merit list.
• The course choice can be allotted as per choice given in the application form and the availability of seats.
• SC/ST candidates selected for admission on merit basis will not be considered against reserved seats. Such candidates will be treated as general category candidate for admission, but their social category will remain unaffected.
