Odisha Polytechnic Application Form 2024
- Step 1– Go to the certified website i.e. (dtetodisha.gov.in) for Odisha Polytechnic 2024 Registration.
- Step 2– Then register yourself by keying the mandatory details such as Name of the Applicant, Mobile Number, Email ID, etc.
- Step 3 – Upload Images: Give a scanned image of a recent color photograph of the applicant (100KB size).
- Step 4 – After achievement of Step 3 i.e. Upload Images, proceed to Step 4 i.e. Fee Payment. You will find payment options of ATM-cum-Debit Card / Credit Card/ Net Banking of the banks available in the Page.
Application Fee:
The application fee can be paid online through debit card/ credit card/ net banking mode. The application fee is non-refundable. The fee details are as under:
- For general male candidate: Rs. 300/-
- For ST/ SC/ Female candidates: Rs. 200/-
- PH/ Transgender candidates are exempted to pay the fee.

Odisha DET Eligibility Criteria 2024
For Engineering Diploma
- Diploma courses: Diploma courses (all engineering except mining & drilling)
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10th standard or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks. Plus, 30% marks each in English, Mathematics and Science subjects
- Age as on 1st July 2024: Minimum 14 years
For Engineering Diploma
- Diploma courses: Diploma course (Mining and Drilling Engineering)
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10th standard or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks. Plus, 30% marks each in English, Mathematics and Science subjects
- Age as on 1st July 2024: Minimum 16 years
For Engineering Diploma
- Diploma courses: Part-time diploma course
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10th class exam with 35% marks and at least 30% marks in English, Mathematics and Science subjects. Plus, the candidate should have completed 2-year ITI after 10th standard
- or
- Must have passed 10th class exam with 35% marks and at least 30% marks in English, Mathematics and Science subjects. Plus, the aspirants need to have at least 2 years full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ education and government, autonomous organizations in a relevant field
- Age as on 1st July 2024: Minimum 14 years (16 years for a diploma in Mining and Drilling Engineering)
Non-Engineering Diploma
- Diploma courses: Pharmacy
- Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 35% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/ Biology subjects. Plus, 30% marks in each of the subjects mentioned above
- Age as on 1st July 2024: Minimum 16 years and non-upper age limit.
Non-Engineering Diploma
- Diploma courses: Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HM & CT)
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 in any stream with at least 35% aggregate marks and 30% marks in each subject.
- Age as on 1st July 2024: Minimum 16 years and non-upper age limit
Non-Engineering Diploma
- Diploma courses: Cinematography or Sound and TV Engg
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 in science stream with at least 35 marks in aggregate
- Age as on 1st July 2024: 16 to 28 years
Odisha DET Merit List 2024
- The authorities will publish different merit lists for various courses after the application form submission.
- The merit lists are prepared based on the marks secured by the applicants in the qualifying exam.
- Please note that a separate merit list will get released for outside state candidates.
- Candidates getting their name in the merit list will be allowed to take part in the e-counselling process.
Odisha DET 2024 Counselling
- The Counseling will be started from 1st Week of July 2024.
- A merit list will be prepared according to marks secured by candidates in entrance exams.
- On the date of document verification, the candidates must pay the fee as Rs. 200/- (Counseling Fee).
