University of Pune has made announcement regarding admission procedure in MCA and M.Sc course. Candidates those who wanted to take admission in the announced courses can apply via online mode. Savitribai Phule Pune University was established in year 1949 and its campus occupies an area of about 411 acres. Candidates have to undergo through the process of entrance examination.

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) offers admission in more than 52 departments of various UG, PG & doctoral programmes. It was established in year 1949 and is located in Pune, Maharashtra. Pune University follows the entrance & without entrance schemes to provide admission in various PG courses. University offers online mode of application through the official website.

Pune University Important Dates 2023 (Tentative)

Minimum eligibility 

• For BA :Pass in 10+2 examination or HSC with English as a passing subject OR three-year Diploma after SSC 
• For B.Sc., Passed HSC or equivalent examination.
• For BBA, BBM, BHM and BCA :Pass in 10+2 examination or equivalent 
• For B.Tech: Pass in HSC or equivalent.

Selection Process:

• Pune University conducts an entrance cum performance test to provide admission
• For B.Sc, applicants will be selected on the basis of their marks in the qualifying exam. 
• Admission will be based on merit and on the basis of entrance exam.
• Admission done on the basis of MHT CET. Admission to rest of the courses is done on the basis of merit.

Pune University follows an entrance & non-entrance based criteria to grant admission in several PG programmes.

• Reserved Category from the state of Maharashtra: INR 700

Process to fill Pune University Application Process 2023

• University offers online mode of application process through the official website.
•  Here are the steps to apply online:
• Visit the official website of the university 
• On the home page press on to Admission Portal.
• Open link of UG/PG Admissions or Ph.D. Admissions, accordingly.
• Press on the desired department course and then click on Login/Sign up.
• Register yourself by filling all relevant details to create account.
• After successful registration, you will receive an email containing User Manuel and FAQs.
• Now login and click on Pre-Admission tab.
• Press on Create New Application and fill all the mandatory details carefully.
• Upload photograph and enter all the valid academic details, and press  on Save and Proceed.
• Now, press on Print link to proceed for payment using Challan.
• Pay challan at respective bank branch and after challan will be received to the university, pay using ‘Card Payment’ option.
• Pay the application fees via credit/debit card.
• After successful payment, bank will update your payment status in one working day in one campus.
• Send form and university challan copy

Pune University MBA Admission 2023

At Pune University, admission to MBA courses is offered with the duration of 2 years divided into 4 semesters. All the students who are interested in taking admission to PUMBA are needed to appear in one of the central exams conducted for admission to the course.

The scores of students in CAT/MAT/CMAT/CET Exams are considered by the university as the admission requirement. For applying to the admission the students must have completed their UG level course from an institution that is recognized by the UGC.

SPPU 2022 Result

Results are distributed at the official website which candidates need to be produced during counseling.

The result will be made available in the pdf manner including details like roll no of the student, name of a student, and many other details. The result is not available in any other medium.
