Ranchhodlal Chhotalal Technical Institute was established in the memory of Shri Ranchhodlal Chhotalal, Rai Bahadur CIE by his grandson Chinubhai Madhowlal Ranchhodlal, in year 1910 at Saraspur, Gujarat India. Sir Chinubhai Madhowlal Ranchhodlal was the first Hindu Indian to be made baronet by the British regime. .The college, affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad , is widely recognized for its academic standards.
