Rani Channamma University is a public university in Belgaum established by the government of Karnataka in 2010 It was created by upgrading Kittur Rani Channamma Post Graduate Centre at Belgaum. Rani Channamma University, Belagavi (RCUB) has been established in the year 2010 by the Government of Karnataka by effecting an amendment to Karnataka State Universities’ Act 2000 by upgrading the erstwhile Karnataka University Kittur Rani Channamma Post Graduate Centre at Belagavi, which was functioning under the aegis of Karnataka University, Dharwad since 1982. Named after the eponymous queen Rani Channamma of Kittur, the first woman freedom fighter of India.

RCUB Admission 2024 for UG courses is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. For PG courses, the selection is done based on the entrance examination or merit in the qualifying examination according to the courses. RCU Admission 2024 Application Form

Candidates who wish to apply to this University must make it through Online Admission and Student Information System (OASIS), the link to which is available on the official university website. The following steps may be followed to apply for courses offered by RCUB.

• Rani Channamma University 2024 Application Form will be Releasing Soon for PG/Ph.D.
• Visit the official website of the university and go to the OASIS portal.
• Type In A college code, User name & password. Default is to, the username will be “admin” and password will be the college code.
• Change your password immediately after login to the system.
• Enter all necessary information in the application form subsequently, and proceed to generate the Challan.
• The cost for prospectuses and application forms for courses with an entrance test is INR 500 and INR 300 for other courses.
• Your printed admission form (three copies) should be sent along with the DD or Challan to the Registrar of the University, Belgavi.

Rani Channamma University Admission 2024-2024 Eligibility Criteria

• If the candidate takes the Rani Channamma University Admission 2024 in under graduation then-candidate has passed 12th from a recognized university.
• If the candidate takes admission in post-graduation then a graduation degree is required from a recognized university.
• Rani Channamma University Admission 2024 Selection to Ph.D. is done on the basis of a written test followed by a personal interview.

The selection process varies based on different courses.

• Certain courses under the university may have interviews conducted as part of the process before finalizing the list of selected candidates.
• For certain courses, such as MCA, MSW, and Masters in Library and Information Science, may include an entrance test, conducted by the university.
• Admission to other courses is done based on merit.
• MBA admission is also based on MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, KMAT, KARNATAKA PGCET exams

Eligibility Criteria for PHD
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to be deemed eligible for admission to this university.

• A pass (minimum 55%) in at least a Master’s level degree from any recognized university in the country. The course must have been in the subject applied for, or in a related field as acceptable at the discretion of the university.
• A 5% relaxation may be given to reserved categories as per the regulations of the Government, i.e. 50% minimum requirement.

Selection Process

• The entrance test has a maximum score of 100 marks, with questions covering general areas, as well as subject-specific and research-oriented questions.
• In general, 40% is based on research methodology and the remaining 60% on the core subject.
• The test is for 120 minutes and is a multiple-choice test by nature.
• Candidates who obtain satisfactory marks in this entrance test will also have to participate in a personal interview
