Parsuram Mishra as the first Vice-Chancellor. The University was inaugurated on 4th January, 1967 by Hon’ble Chancellor A.N.Khosla. The University started functioning in 1967 in a rented private building at Dhanupali, Sambalpur and in Government building at Ainthapali, Sambalpur from 1968 – 72. Sambalpur University occupies an important position in the academic scenario of the State of Odisha and India. As an institution of higher learning it has become a catalyzing factor of social change in a relatively underdeveloped region of the Odisha. At PG level, The University offers MBA,MCA (Regular and lateral entry) and PG Diploma course in computer applications.

1. Visit the official link to download the Sambalpur University Admit Card 2021.
2. Enter the Date of Birth, Mobile No. and any one of Roll Number or Application Number or Old Roll Number.

4. Look for the ‘Download Admit Card’ link and click the same
