Shivaji University, Kolhapur, a state university in Maharashtra, has announced MPhil/PhD Admission 2024-22. Admissions for MPhil/PhD programmes shall be through a Common Entrance Test conducted by Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

Shivaji University M. Phil. and PhD Eligibility Criteria 2024-2024

Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for M.Phil and PhD degrees decided by Shivaji University in order to get admission.

• Candidates must have passed master degree program or any a professional degree equivalent to a master degree program with a minimum of 55% aggregate or grade equivalent to ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.
• Candidates belonging from any of reserved categories(SC/ ST) need to score at least 50% aggregate in the master degree program in relevant discipline.
• Candidates must have passed M. Phil course at Shivaji University with at least 55% aggregate or grade equivalent to ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale to be eligible for admission in PhD degree.
• If a candidate’s M.Phil dissertation has been assessed and the viva is pending, the candidate having the M.Phil degree from Shivaji University or any other degree equivalent to the M.Phil degree of an Indian institution or from a foreign institute/university are eligible for PhD admissions.

Shivaji University Ph.D Admission 2024 Application Form

• The application form for Shivaji University Ph.D Admission 2024 will be available in online mode only.
• The entrance examination fee for each subject is INR 200.
• The fee can be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft.
• Prepare the DD drawn in favor of Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
• Submit the filled-in application form along with the Demand Draft to the concerned department either by post/courier or by the person.
• Candidates can also avail the copy of course directory by paying a sum of INR 100 to the University in form of cash or Demand Draft.

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificate from the board
• Scanned copies of graduation mark sheet (if available)
• Category certificate (if available for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates)
