Sidho Kanho Birsha University is a public state university located in Purulia district of West Bengal, India. It was established under an Act of the West Bengal Legislature on April, 2010.This university also offers B.Ed. and Ph.D. courses. SKBU UG Admission

SKBU is offering the following UG courses this year.

• BSc (Hons): Only those students can apply who have passed HSC in the science stream with at least 65% marks. There are only thirty seats for this program so that the selection will be on 100% merit.
• BCA: The applicants who have studied Maths or computers at the HSC level can apply to this course. They must have 60% marks.
• BBA: Students who have studied commerce subjects at HSC with 60% marks can apply for this program.
• BA (Hons): Applicants with an HSC degree in any discipline can apply for a BA course.
• B.Com: Requires the students to have an HSC degree in any stream with a min of 60% marks.

SKBU PG Admission

SKBU Admission is offering the following PG course this year.

• MSc: A BSc degree requires for being eligible. These students are required to score at least 60% marks in BSc.
• MCA: A BSc in Maths or BCA with at least 60% marks is necessary to apply to an MCA program. SKBU will arrange to counsel these students.
• MBA: A graduation degree in any stream requires a min of 60% marks. The SKBU admission process depends on the scores in the last degree and viva.
• MA: This requirement for this program is a BA in the same subject with a min of 60% marks.
• M.Com: The students should have a B.Com degree from any institute with at least 60% marks. Selection is merit-based.
• Ph.D.: This program is available for those students who have a master’s or MPhil degree in the same stream. SKBU will conduct an entrance exam for these students; after the entrance exam results.
