St. Joseph’s Institute of Management is a private graduate school of business located in Bangalore, India. It offers a two-year full-time PGDM program approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. In 1884, St. Joseph’s College was established. It has grown steadily and today has more than 8000 students enrolled at the Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer and Management disciplines in its four independent Colleges namely, St. Joseph’s College (Arts & Science), St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, St. Joseph’s Evening College and St. Joseph’s College of Business Administration (SJCBA). The Jesuit Fathers, however, came into the picture in 1937 when the Paris Foreign Mission handed over all Joseph’s Institutions to them.

PGDM Course

Eligibility

• The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university under regular mode ONLY.
• The candidate should have a consistent academic record of the first class (minimum 60% marks) in STD X, STD XII & Graduation.
• The candidates who have cleared all the subjects in their first attempt will be preferred. Candidates with a history of more than two arrears need not apply.
• Candidates who have appeared for the Final Graduate Level examination and are awaiting results may also apply.

Entrance Test
CAT 2020 : (60 percentile or above)
XAT 2021 : (60 percentile or above)
MAT : A minimum of 550 composite score.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission for PHD 
a) Ph. D. admissions at SJIM Research Centre are governed by the University of Mysore admission rules notified on the website of the University of Mysore.

b) As per the existing rules of the University of Mysore, a candidate must have a Master’s Degree or any other Degree/Diploma, with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) or an equivalent Grade. However, this condition is relaxed to 50% in case of:

▪ SC/ST (Cat-I candidates), OBC (NCL candidates), Persons with Disability (PWD) and Transgender candidates.

▪ In-service candidates with a minimum of five years of regular experience associated with the teaching profession as teachers/library
professionals/physical education instructors/laboratory staff in educational institutions.
