The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) had its genesis from establishment of an Agricultural School at Saidapet, Madras, Tamil Nadu, as early as 1868 and it was later relocated at Coimbatore. In 1920 it was affiliated to Madras University. TNAU assumed full responsibilities of Agricultural Education and Research and supported the State Agricultural Department by delivering research products. TNAU Application Form 2024 is expected to be released in June or July 2024 . TNAU UG is a centralized admission process conducted by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University every year for admission in Under Graduate Agriculture courses such as B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Horticulture, B.Sc Sericulture, etc.

B.Tech.
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 exams with 55% aggregate in Science stream
B.Sc.
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed all the subjects in the 10+2 examination with an aggregate of 55% from a recognized board.
M.Tech.
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed graduation in B.Tech (Agr. Engg.)/B.Tech. (FPE)/B.E(Ag.)/B.Tech. (Food Technology)/ B.Tech.(EEE) of SAUs with minimum OGPA
M.Sc.
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed graduation in B.Sc
MBA
Eligibility: Candidates must possess a graduation degree from SAUs with minimum OGPA
M.Phil. + Ph.D
Eligibility: The candidate must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field with minimum CGPA of 7.00 out of 10.00

Steps to Apply
- At the start, the candidates are supposed to register themselves with a username and passport by creating an application account.
- After generating this account, candidates will be obliged to fill in all their details on the system-made application form and take a print of it.
- At that time applicants will have got to give their Application fee through the Challan slip to the advantage of TNAU- Power Jyoti Account owed at any SBI branch.
After the positive payment of the fee, candidates are intended for extending a hard copy of their application form accompanied by Challan copy, and photocopies of other vital brochures all for the form to the next address:

The Exam Pattern of TNOU Test is as follows-
- The format of the questions is Multiple Choice Objective Questions.
- The time duration of the exam is 1 Hour and 15 Minutes (90 Minutes)
- Total Marks of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Test Question Paper is 100 marks

Candidates need to bring the admit card for the written test. They also need to carry a copy of the application form and valid ID proof in the examination hall. TNAU M.Tech Selection Process
Tamil Nadu Agricultural University M.Tech selection process is based on the university’s entrance exam, which includes the following primary sections:
- Students who meet the qualifications are invited to participate in the group discussion process.
- An applicant can apply for up to two subjects under the Master’s programme and must pay separate fees for each subject.
- The university holds a counselling session, during which the shortlisted applicants are approached for seat allocation

When the results will be out, students will be selected according to their marks scored in the qualifying examination. For this candidates will be informed and they had to register and modify their preferences of courses and colleges.
