Tamil Nadu Auxiliary Nurses and Midwifery is a course offered by the Department of Medical, Health & Family Welfare (DMHF) of the Tamil Nadu government (ANM). Tamil Nadu ANM Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for the admission process:
- Candidates must have completed their class 12 examination from the HSC board.
- Candidates must have passed with at least 40% marks in the science stream on the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in HSC.
- Candidates must have acquired the age of 17 years and must be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu State.
Tamil Nadu ANM Merit List 2024
Once the candidate is registered successfully, an official merit list containing the names of shortlisted candidates will be released. Further, the admission process depends on the marks scored by the applicant in the previous qualifying examination. However, the applicants must reach the cut-off released by the statutory body to ensure their admission
Counselling
- After the release of the merit list, candidates can attend the counseling session. In the counseling session, candidates will be allocated colleges based on marks scored in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates do not have the option for filling the college choices and options. The list of allocated colleges and students’ names would be made available by the official website.

Selection Procedure:
