The Global Open University, a state level university was established in the year 2006 under the Act 2006 by The Government of Nagaland. The courses of TGOU are approved by University Grants Commission (UGC), Distance Education Council (DEC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Commonwealth of Learning (COL). TGOU has many master degree programmes, bachelor degree programmes and diploma courses at this University. TGOU also offers short-term online certificate courses apart from its distance education degree courses which include only registration.

It offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, Bachelor of Hotel Management Travel and Tourism, BCA, Bachelor of Social Work, B.Lib and BBA degree courses at the undergraduate level. MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Lib, MCA, MBA, LL.M, Master of Social Work, Master of Hospital Management, Master of Public Health, Master of Business Law degree courses at the postgraduate level.

The Global Open University – Course Details with Eligibility Criteria

BA: The eligibility is 12th class education or equivalent and passed with at least 55%.The global Open University Admission is merit-based.

BSc: Education required is 12th class passed with min 55% marks aggregate. Merit-based admissions.

BHMTT: The 10+2 class education is eligible and admission is granted on the merit of it.

BBA: The education needed for this course admission is HSSC (class12th).

BSW: The eligibility is Class XII passed with a minimum of 55% marks.

MBA: The eligibility is a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks and admissions based on merit.

M. Com: Aspirant must have a B. Com (Graduation) degree is eligible.

MSW: The BSc degree is eligible and admission is merit-based.

MPH: The Bachelor’s degree in public administration is eligible.

MCA: Eligibility is having Graduation in computer science. Admission is done through merit.

Global Open University Application Form 2024-25

Step 1: Aspirants must visit the official portal of GOU.

Step 2: Download the Application Form and take a printout.

Step 3: Fill out all the details required by the Application Form.

Step 4: Attach all the eligibility docs required for admissions into the relevant courses.

Step 5: Remit the payment against the Application Fee using a Bank Draft in favor of GOU payable at Dimapur.

Step 6: Then send all the docs along with the Bank Draft to the registered address of GOU.
