The Tripura General Nursing and Midwifery course is a Diploma course which is of 3.5 year duration. This course is meant for admission to the colleges/ universities in Tripura. The admission process for Tripura GNM will be undertaken by the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tripura.
Tripura GNM Applicants who want to get admission to the GNM course that is General Nursing and Midwife course in different universities or institutions located in Tripura need to fill and submit the application form available in online mode on the official website of the university.
Tripura GNM Nursing Admission Process
- Candidates are admitted on the basis of merit.
- The applicants have to go through an entrance exam for admission.
- Further, the officials release a merit list. It indicates the names of selected candidates, who have secured the minimum qualifying marks.
- Then the merit list candidates have to appear for counselling round. It is the last round of the admission process. The seat allotment process is carried out on the day of counselling.

Tripura GNM 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational background:
- To be admitted to the university, the applicant must pass the HSC exams or an equivalent exam from a recognized university or board.
Subject:
- In the HSC exams, physics, chemistry, biology, and English must all be required subjects.
Criteria for age:
- Applicants must be over the age of 17 to be considered for admission.
- At the time of admission, the maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years.
