University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore is located in Bengaluru, India. It was established in 1964 as UAS Bangalore by a legislative act. The University has 5 Colleges, 27 Research Stations, 6 Agriculture Extension Education Centers, 6 Krishi Vigyan Kendras and ATIC. The University has its jurisdiction over 7 districts namely Bagalkot, Belgaum, Bijapur, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, and Uttar Kannada in northern Karnataka. Greater diversity exists in soil types, climate, topography cropping and farming situations. The jurisdiction includes dry-farming to heavy rainfall and irrigated area. Important crops of the region include sorghum, cotton, rice, pulses, chilli, sugarcane, groundnut, sunflower, wheat, safflower etc. The region is also known for many horticultural crops. UAS organises different types of seminars, counselling seasons, conferences for the betterment of students. Sports competitions in inter or intra college are held on the campus or out of the campus. Many motivational speakers and famous personalities are called for the seasons and programmes by the college.

  • Candidates need to follow these steps to fill the form of UAS Bangalore for admission in various courses:
  • Go to the UAS Banglore official website.
  • Download the application form from the official university website.
  • Enter all details like date of birth, name, email ID and mobile number in the application form.
  • Select the exam centre from the list given in the table as per your preference.
  • Attach your photograph and signature.
  • After completing form submit it along with a DD draft of the application fee to the university’s office.
  • Candidates can keep the printed copies of duly filled up an application for future reference.

Application Fee

  • The fee for the general category is Rs. 500/-
  • For SC/ST category candidates, the fee will be Rs. 250/-.

UAS Bangalore 2024 Result

The university offers a semester course system which is being conducted by UAS twice in a year at various examination centers. Candidates should cancel the selection entrance examination to receive admission to the university.

An entrance examination conducts in the month of June and July. Candidates are recommended to visit the official website regularly for more details and regular updates.

Candidates can also check their results through an online state only using the online portal of UAS. Support by visiting university website candidates can get all the examination results, notifications, and the schedule of various programs.
