UG Course Details with selection process  and Eligibility Criteria :

Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (B.Pharm.Sci)

  • Class 12 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra)
  • Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra)

3-year Bachelor of Law (LLB)

– A pass in any bachelor’s degree with 45% aggregate (in case there is no entrance test conducted by the Law department/affiliated college under MU)

B.Arch Eligibility Criteria 2024

  • 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks with Math as a compulsory subject

  • 10+3 year diploma in any steam from a recognized board/institution/universityB.Ed. (Physical Education) (B.P.Ed.) Eligibility:– A candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) must have passed a Bachelor’s degree examination of this University in any faculty or a corresponding degree examination of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto and in addition must have subsequent to his/her passing the Bachelor’s degree examination:-

BA Eligibility Criteria

For BA General, the candidate should have passed Class 12 or HSC examination from any equivalent board with English or any other modern language as the main subject and a vocational stream.
Candidates for BA in Library and Information Science admission should have passed from any other University relevant to it. Candidate from other University has to present a Migration Certificate and also have to get a Provisional Certificate of Eligibility from the Registrar of Mumbai University.

BE/B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

  • The BE/ B.Tech eligibility criteria for biotech/biomedical engineering requires the candidates to pass Biology at the qualifying examination and then appear for MHT-CET.
  • For BE/ B.Tech in all other courses apart from biotech/biomedical engineering, candidates should have passed the class 12th exam of Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary and Secondary Education or CBSE exam or any other equivalent exam of a Board, Council or University outside of Maharashtra with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, English and Maths with a minimum of 45% marks for general category and minimum 40% for backward categories (from Maharashtra) in Physics, Maths and Chemistry together

B.Com Eligibility Criteria

  • For B.Com general, the candidate should have passed HSC or Class 12 examination with a vocational paper.
  • For B.Com in accounting & Finance, the candidate should have secured 45% in Class 12 and must have registered in Mumbai University for the course.

B.Sc Eligibility Criteria

  • For B.Sc General, the candidate should have Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Physics as main subjects.
  • For B.Sc Home Science, the candidate should have any of these 2 subjects- Physics, Biology Sociology, Economics, Home Science, Textile laundry or Clothing.

PG Course Details  with Eligibility Criteria

MA Eligibility Criteria

  • MA eligibility criteria require the candidate to have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. For MA General, a BA degree is required in a relevant discipline for admission in MA General.
  • The candidate must have a BA in education or B.Ed with a Score of 45% for MA admission in education.

Integrated MSc

  • A pass in Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for reserved categories)

MCom

  • A pass in BCom (General/ Banking & Insurance/ Accounting & Finance/ Financial Markets) or BMS from a recognised university

M.Tech: Eligibility Criteria

  • B.E/B.Tech degree holders in relevant subjects can apply for admission to the M.E/M.Tech course.
  • Minimum 50% marks secured in the qualifying examination.

Master of Financial Services Management (MFSM) Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university

M.P.Ed -Eligibility Criteria

Mumbai University M.Phil, Ph.D. & D.Sc Admission 2024

Ph.D. admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in PET conducted by Mumbai University followed by an interview. PET for Ph.D. is conducted in two sessions every year, i.e, January-February and July-August. GATE/ NET/ SET/ CSIR/ ICAR/ JRF qualified candidates are also eligible to apply.

Mumbai University 2024 Entrance Exam

Candidates have to appear for Mumbai University 2024 Entrance Exam (MUCLAT/ MUCMET ) for seeking admission into management and law courses.

In MUCMET exam, candidates have to solve 50 multiple choice questions in 120 minutes. The examination will consist of questions from Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Logical and Abstract Reasoning.
