Founded in 2005, Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) is the only affiliating University of the state for technical institutions. The University was established by the Government of Uttarakhand. At present, there are eight constituent and 132 affiliated colleges that offer degree programmes to more than 33,000 students across multiple streams. Uttarakhand Technical University is a public university in the Indian state of Uttarakhand set up by the Government of Uttarakhand on 27 January 2005, through the Uttarakhand Technical University Act 2005. It has 8 constituent institutes and approximately 132 affiliated colleges spread all over the state. These course streams include Management, Engineering, Hotel Management, Computer Application, Pharmacy, etc. Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun is offering technical as well as professional education in different courses. Uttarakhand Technical University-Course Details with Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech (LE) Courses:

• Qualification: Candidates must be a diploma certificate holder in Engineering or B.Sc. degree from any recognized university.
• Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 45% Marks (40% Marks for reserved category) to be eligible for admission.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final examination can also apply for the admission.

For MCA Courses:

• Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from any recognized board.
• Marks: Candidates must secure at least 50% Marks (45% Marks for reserved category candidates) to be eligible for admission.
• Subjects: Candidates should have mathematics as one of their subjects in 10+2 level.

MPharm

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field or equivalent from a recognised institute/ university

For MBA Courses:

• Qualification: Candidates must be a bachelor’s degree holder in any discipline from any recognized institute or university.
• Marks: Candidates must obtain 50% Marks (45% marks for reserved category) of marks in their qualifying degree.

For M.tech Courses:

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field or equivalent from a recognised institute/ university
