Founded in 1981 by Vasavi Academy of Education, Vasavi College of Engineering represents a rich tradition of excellence in technology-based education. It is affiliated to Osmania University. The college campus is spread over an area of 13.6 acres. The college offers 6 UG programmes and 6 PG programmes. The college has been granted autonomy by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi and Osmania University, Hyderabad for all the programmes.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

A. 70% of seats i.e., ”Category-A” seats (based on the rank obtained in state level
entrance examination-TSEAMCET) will be filled by the Convener, TSEAMCET.
b. 30% of seats i.e., ”Category-B” seats will be filled by the management as per the
relevant rules of the State Govt. and guidelines of the State Council of Higher Education
issued from time to time.

• The institution is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation.
• The institution is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
• For the quality of technical education provided by the institution, it has earned 3^rd ranking in the state and 32^nd in the country.
