West Bengal was the origin of first Pharmaceutical industry which dates back to year 1901 AD when renowned scientist Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray laid the foundation stone of Bengal Chemicals & Pharmaceutical Works Ltd which later became Bengal Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. In coming years West Bengal is going to be the pharmaceutical hub. The state government is adopting major policies to promote the growth of pharmaceutical industries and expecting foreign investment to grow. Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be an Indian citizen and must have passed the H.S.E (10 + 2) or its equivalent from any recognized board of education in regular class mode

Candidates need to pass 10+2 examinations with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology as their compulsory subjects with at least 60% marks in all the above three subjects taken together.

The candidates should be minimum of 17 years of age

And the candidates need to qualify the WBJEE entrance exam
