Yogi Vemana University is a newly established university in the Kadapa district with its West Campus at Idupulapaya. Earlier, it was a part of Sri Venkateswara University. It is named after a great thinker, philosopher, and social reformer Yogi Vemana, the most celebrated Telugu poet and sage of all time. YVU University Admission 2024-24: Yogi Vemana University was located in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh in 2006. YVU University offered undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses for students. YVU Entrance Test (YVUCET) 2024 is a University level entrance exam conducted by Yogi Vemana University every year.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
Eligible students must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/Board.

B.Tech Selection Criteria
Admissions to B.Tech course is made for candidates fulfilling eligibility norms prescribed by the University
Eligible students must also secure minimum pass marks in JEE Mains or equivalent National level entrance test in engineering domain

B.P.Ed.
A candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized University/Board

BFA
A candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board He/she must secure a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate

B.Sc.
Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board He/she should secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation for reserved category) Must have studied English as compulsory subject

MBA Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, a candidate must have passed Graduation in relevant stream from a recognized University/Board
He/she must secure a minimum of at least 50% marks in aggregate

MBA Selection Criteria
Admissions to MBA course is made for candidates fulfilling eligibility norms prescribed by the University
CAT/MAT/ CMAT or any other national or State Level Entrance Exam score is mandatory for admission to MBA program.

A candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in relevant stream from a recognized University

To be eligible, a candidate must have passed a Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology stream
