Lost Ark ‘EAC Offline’ or ‘Error 10011’ issue under investigation, confirms support

Lost Ark, created by Smilegate RPG and Tripod Studio, is a top-tier massively multiplayer online action role-playing game. It was developed with Unreal Engine 3, and it came out earlier this year in Europe and the Americas. While the game’s primary focus is on PvE elements like exploration, crafting, and hunting, PvP combat is also available. Despite widespread appreciation for the game’s mechanics from players and reviewers alike, many have been frustrated by recent technical issues, such as bots overwhelming servers and excessively long wait times.

When attempting to connect to the game server, gamers of Lost Ark are now reporting that they are receiving the messages ‘EAC Offline’ and ‘EAC Failed to Start the game Error: 10011’. As if those errors weren’t bad enough. It is interesting to note that the mistake was fixed in a previous update, but that it has now been resurrected after the update that took place on July 6th. The players have tried restarting the game as well as their own machines, but the problem with the disconnections has not been resolved.

This problem has been there for a while, but what makes it even more frustrating is that it was just resolved by the developers a few weeks ago, only to resurface suddenly. However, there are some clever workarounds that can be used to eliminate the mentioned challenges. Therefore, without further ado, let’s investigate them.

Renaming NVIDIA’s PhysX Folder:

Your first step should be to go into NVIDIA’s PhysX installation folder, find the one you want to rename it to, and then give it a name that is completely random. Follow the appropriate steps to rename the NVIDIA’s PhysX Folder in the device:

Step 1: Launch File Explorer via Windows+E shortcut keys.

Step 2: Then navigate to the directory that is listed below, which is

C:/Program Files (x86)/NVIDIA Corporation/PhysX.

Step 3: Now, right-click the PhysX folder, and select the Rename option from the context menu.

Step 4: You can use any other name of your choice.

Step 5: Check to see whether it resolves the issue of the Lost Ark EAC being offline or error 10011.

Set Forward Ports to Open:

The next step that you need to take is to make sure that the Forward Ports 18887–18903 on your network are set to Open. Follow the appropriate steps to set forward ports to open in the device:

Step 1: To begin, open a web browser and enter one of the four IP Addresses shown above. This will allow you to see the router’s home page.

192.168.0.1

192.168.1.1

192.168.2.1

192.168.1.100

Step 2: After that, type in your user ID and password. It could be any combination of these several forms of identification:

 ID: <blank> PASSWORD: <blank>

ID: admin PASSWORD: admin

ID: <blank> PASSWORD: admin

ID: admin PASSWORD: <blank>

Step 3: Next, navigate to the Port Forwarding area, which may be found on the left-hand side of the screen.

Step 4: Now click the Save button after entering 18887 for the Internal Port and 18903 for the External Port.

Step 5: Verify that the Lost Ark EAC Offline and Error 10011 are no longer present after applying the update.

Repairing EAC:

If the EAC file has become corrupted or if the game’s background services are not running as planned, this could have a negative effect on the game’s ability to run as intended, which would be detrimental to the player experience. As a result, you ought to give some thought to fixing the Easy Anti Cheat by following the directions that are provided below.

Step 1: Launch Steam, then navigate to your Library and choose Lost Ark from the list of games there.

Step 2: After that, right-click on it, then select Open Settings, Manage, and Browse Local Files from the menu that appears.

Step 3: After that, navigate to Steam > Steamapps > Common > Lost Ark > Binaries > Win64 in Steam’s navigation bar.

Step 4: Now open the EasyAntiCheat folder, and right-click on the EasyAntiCheat Setup.exe file to begin the installation process.

Step 5: The next step is to select the option to Run as administrator, and after that, select the option to Repair Service.

Step 6: When you are finished, check to see if it resolves the error 10011 or the Lost Ark EAC Offline.
