University Grants Commission, New Delhi has granted reaccreditation to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam for the conduct of AP SET to recruit the candidates as assistant Professors Lecturers through direct recruitment or promotion in Universities and Degree colleges in Andhra Pradesh state as per the UGC Regulations.
APSET 2024
Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) is liable for organizing the APSET exam for determining the eligibility of eligible and dynamic applicants for the post of Lecturer/ Assistant Professors in degree colleges and universities across the state. Via APSET 2024 the eligibility of students will be determined for the promotions of Assistant Professors/ Lecturers in colleges across the state. APSET is purely conducted as per the guiding principle of UGC and NET (National Eligibility Test) and the test conducting authority for the same is NTA. Eligibility Criteria
- A Master’s Degree with an aggregate of 55% or equivalent exam from a University/college recognized by UGC is required to apply for APSET 2024.
- Appearing candidates are also applicable to apply.
- Result should be announced within 1 year of result announcement of APSET 2024.
- Relaxation by 5% will be applicable for those who hold a Ph.D. degree.
- Master level exam of such candidates should be completed as per the required date for appearing in SET.
- Applicants possessing postgraduate diploma/certificate are also eligible to apply
- No upper age limit will be applicable by the official authority
Application Fee
- General category are requested to pay an amount of Rs. 1000/-
- OBC category need to pay an amount of Rs. 800/-
- SC/ST category need to pay an amount of Rs. 500/-

The steps to download APSET Admit Card are as under:
- 1st Step: Visit the official website of APSET – apset.net.in.
- 2nd Step: Click on “Login” from the homepage.
- 3rd Step: A new page opens. Click on the link “Continue To Login”.
- 4th Step: Enter your Email ID, Password, and Security Pin.
- 5th Step: Click on “Submit”.
- 6th Step: Your APSET Admit Card will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to download the APSET Admit Card and keep it safely for future reference.
