NHM Punjab has released an official notification for the posts of Update will be soon Community Health Officers (CHO) in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Punjab. Interested candidates can apply through the official website, nhm.punjab.gov.in. Candidates seeking to apply for the course should possess B.Sc in Nursing OR from a recognized Institute/University. They should be registered with Punjab Nursing Registration Council. Alternatively, BAMS from recognized University or Statutory State Board and Enrolment on State Register or Central Register of Ayurveda. The candidate should fulfil all the essential qualifications and eligibility criteria as mention in the official NHM notification. Educational Qualifications:
B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc The certificate in community health course with Post Basic BSc Nursing must have an integrated bridge programme or a 6 month certificate course in community health. In addition, the integrated bridge programme of the certificate in the community health course will be accompanied by a 6 month certificate course in BAMS or community health.
