Educational Qualification
JOT Civil: Must have a three-year diploma/degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
JOT Electrical: Must have a three-year diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or institution with an Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency. OR Have a degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
JOT Mechanical: Must have a three-year diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
JOT Mining: Must have a three-year diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized university or institution with Foreman’s Certificate of Competency to open cast metalliferous mines. OR Have a degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized university or institution with 2nd Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency to open cast metalliferous mines.
JOT G & QC: Must have M.Sc / M.Sc (Tech) / M.Tech in Geology / Applied Geology / Exploration Geology from a recognized university or institution.
JOT Survey: Must have three years Diploma in Mining or a Diploma in Mines and Mine Surveying with Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency under MMR.
Application fee:
Candidates need to submit Rs 250 as application fee. For applicants working in NMDC Ltd, and those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen categories, the application fee will be exempted.
Selection process:
The NMDC will shortlist candidates for the Junior Officer (Trainee) posts through a written test, followed by a supervisory skill test. After the skill test, selected candidates will be called in for the process of document verification by the Corporation.
