Punjab TET Application Form 2024
- First of all, you need to visit the official website of the concerned authority.
- Find the concerned link of PSTET 2024 and click on the same.
- Download the advertisement and read all the information such as eligibility, instructions for the application form, fee etc. carefully.
- Now, fill details of the personal information, qualification and address etc. in the online application form.
- Pay the prescribed amount of application fee through net banking or debit/credit card.

Punjab TET 2024 Eligibility
To register and apply for Punjab TET candidate must satisfy the following eligibility criteria.
- A candidate with academic and professional qualifications specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 are eligible.
- A candidate pursuing any of the teacher education courses recognized by the NCTE is eligible.
- Candidates applying for TET must follow strict rules and regulations as guided by the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE)
- Candidate applying for Primary school teacher (classes from 1 to 5) must pass higher Secondary with at least 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Education to apply Punjab State TET Application form.
- Candidates applying for Secondary School Teacher (classes from 6 to 8) must pass Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks along with a 4 years degree in Bachelors can apply for the Upper Primary Teacher.
PTET Fee Deposition
After completing your application form the next step is fee payment. PTET registration fee offers full concession to Ex-serviceman and other economically backward communities are offered with partial concession. The table below shows the fees deposition for different categories in the state.

Punjab TET 2024 Exam Pattern:
- Questions in PSTET will be multiple choice questions (MCQs).
- Each question carrying one mark.
- There will be no Negative marking in the exam.
- There will be two papers of PSTET.
- Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
- Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Ist Exam Pattern:
- For the first Language, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
- For Child Development & Pedagogy, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
- In the second language, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
- For Environmental (EVS) Studies, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
- For Maths, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Overall, there will be 150 questions for 150 Marks
2nd Exam Pattern:
- First Language is mandatory; there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Child Development & Pedagogy is the compulsory exam, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
- The second language is mandatory; there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
- Social Studies (For SST Teacher), there will be 60 questions for 60 marks.
- Science and Mathematics, there will be 60 questions for 60 marks.
- Overall there will be 150 MCQ questions for 150 marks.
PSTET 2024 Admit Card
