How to Apply for UPSC IFS application form 2024?
- Online Visit upsc.gov.in from your device.
- Second, click the Apply Online button.
- Third, select the UPSC IFS 2024 Online Public Services Application Form for the exam.

Examination fee
Candidates applying for UPSC CSE prelims are required to pay a fee of Rs 100, by February 22 (6.00 PM), except for the Female/ SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates who are exempted from the fee payment.

Candidates need to go through the eligibility for UPSC IFS 2024 to sit for the Prelims and Mains. Following are the Eligibility conditions for the examination:
Nationality- A candidate must be either:
A citizen of India
A subject of Nepal
A subject of Bhutan
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 intending to permanently settle in India.
Candidates belonging to b, c, d, e shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India.

IFS : Bachelor Degree as one of Subject Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology, Agriculture or Equivalent

Selection Process
The Indian Forest Service Examination will consist of two successive stages. Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination; and Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service.
