Steps To Apply Online For WBPRB Police Recruitment 2024:

Step 1. The online application window for WBPRB police recruitment 2024 can be accessed at http://wbpolice.gov.in/

Step 2. Once you go to the official website of WBPRB, click on the link which reads, “Recruitment to the Constable of Police in West Bengal Police – 2024” under the recruitment tab

Step 3. You will be redirected to a new window. Click on the application form link

Step 4. Again click on the link for WPBRB sub-inspector/constable recruitment

Step 5. Read the instructions and go for Apply online tab

Step 6. Key in the required details, upload the documents and pay the application fee. Applicants are advised to download a copy of the WBPRB application form.

Age Limit 

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 27 Years
• Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.

Qualification

Candidates should have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent
The applicant must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language.

Physical Measurement

Constable (Male):

Candidates of all categories: 167 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm.)), 58 Weight (in kg.), 78 cms Chest (without expansion), 83 cms Chest (with expansion – 5 cms.)

Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes: 160 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm.)), 53 Weight (in kg.), 76 cms Chest (without expansion), 81 cms Chest (with expansion – 5 cms.)

Lady Constable:

Candidates of all categories: 160 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm.)), 49 Weight (in kg.)

Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes: 152 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm.)), 45 Weight (in kg.)

Selection Process :

• Preliminary Written Test
• Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Final Written Exam
• Interview
