Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, founded by Kulapati Dr. K.M. Munshiji in the year 1938, has been inculcating ethical, moral and spiritual values through institutions, departments and various activities. It was inaugurated by the then President of India, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan at Hyderabad in 1965. This was also Bhavan’s first Kendra in the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh.
