The Primary school was started in April, 1983 and holds from Nursery to V. The school is located in Vasant Vihar (South Delhi), a kilometre away from its senior branch at R. K. Puram. The Nursery Wing of the school is housed in a separate building close to the Junior school. We are a family of approximately 1550 students and a staff of about 90 teachers & approximately 40 other support staff members.
DPS Vasant Vihar Delhi Nursery class which lays and nurtures the foundation of the school cycle is housed in a separate building whereby the little ones can run, play, express and partake in safe open environs. After a year of careful nurturing in the Nursery Wing, the infants take pride in graduating into the Junior School (Prep to Class V). Then comes the ultimate thrill when the students with well-rounded personalities move on to class VI at the Senior School at DPS, R. K.Puram. Activities underlined by joy quotient have our happy Nursery Graduates moving into the Junior Wing every year.
