The Rajagiri Public School was started in 1994 by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) of the Sacred Heart Province, Rajagiri, Kalamassery. Since the establishment of the first Catholic Sanskrit School in Kerala in 1846. The Physical Education Department of Rajagiri Public School aims at the holistic development of the child. The great end of this education is to discipline rather than to furnish the mind; to train it to the use of its own powers, rather than fill it with the accumulations of others
